Important innovations in the IBL system: more efficient inbound logistics processes
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
We would like to inform you about upcoming changes in the use of the IBL platform. These changes are aimed at providing you as a partner with a holistic and future-oriented solution for your logistics processes. With the introduction of the new platform, you can expect significant improvements in terms of efficiency, transparency and ease of use.
Shutdown of the previous IBL platform and introduction of smartIBL
For the transition, the old IBL platform has its sundown on March 28 at 5:00 PM. Starting from March 31, read-only access will be available until the end of April (exceptions: statements for REKLA and DQM taking into account the known deadlines). Debit Notes (I060) will also only be accessible until the end of April.
Please feel free to use the IBL platform, if possible, to create delivery notes in advance (if you are using webEDI – function: New Shipment D302/D303).
There will be an automatic role migration for existing IBL users to the new platform. For all new users, you will find the instructions in the respective Starter Kit. Access to the applications EDI Quality and Logistic Complaints will only be available from March 31, 2025, or April 1, 2025!
The most important changes you can expect
Future-oriented platform: smartIBL provides you with the basis for the design and continuous improvement of future logistics processes.
Efficient and safe work processes: Thanks to process optimizations and the integration of new technologies, the error rate is significantly reduced, resulting in a safer and smoother process.
User-friendliness: A modern user interface makes operation easier. Training and support services are also provided to make the transition as easy as possible.
Important deadlines and preparation steps
Confirmation of Arrivals for GLC Germersheim (057) can still be retrieved on the IBL platform until end of April 2025. After that, this will only be possible through the support process.
Further information and training offers
Starter Kits serve as assistance during the transition. Among other things, you will find information on the support model, general self-learning training materials/videos, and an introduction to the applications and their technical requirements. Since the Starter Kits are continuously updated, you can always find the latest versions under Important Documents.
