FAQs on role applications after BusinessID Go Live

Have you applied for a role but cannot see the respective application in your list?

This FAQ provides you with a compact overview of the role workflows after BusinessID Go Live. Here you can find out what steps follow after applying for a role, how long processing can take and what you can do if an application does not appear as expected.

 

  • Request application

    You can request additional applications as usual via the application list.
    To do so, click on Request new application’ – a window will open in which you can search for and select the desired application.

    Please note:
    The status of your request will not be displayed in the application list. After submitting your request, only a short success message will appear in the top right-hand corner of your browser window.
    Your request will be forwarded automatically. Your Portal Manager/OrgAdmin must approve the request.
    The application will only appear in the Supplier Portal once it has been successfully approved.

    Note on role requests:
    If you have requested a role, please contact your Portal Manager/OrgAdmin directly.
    You can find them via the "My Profile" option – then click on "My Portal Managers".

    Important new feature:
    If several supplier numbers are assigned to your account, please select the appropriate number for which you wish to apply for the application in the overview of your applications under "Selected Organisation".

     

  • Confirm application

    You can conveniently confirm requests via the new IAM Shop. You can find access to the admin application here.
    After logging in, you will see all open requests that require your attention under "My Tasks" in the left-hand menu bar.

    Important note:
    The admin tool does not currently send notifications when new requests are received. Please check your task list regularly to ensure that you do not overlook any requests.

  • Time

    It usually takes up to 24 hours for the role to appear in your profile. Please wait until this 24-hour period has elapsed before contacting support to avoid unnecessary ticket creation.

    There are currently delays in processing role requests until your Portal Manager/Org Admin finally sees the request.

    Please do not resubmit requests, check with your Portal Manager/Org Admin again, and do not create tickets. 

  • Applicaiton confirmed

    If your Portal Manager/OrgAdmin has already confirmed the request and the application is still not visible, please contact support.
