On July 17th, we will welcome our top 200 suppliers to the Daimler Truck Supplier Summit in our plant in Wörth / Germany. Why are we doing this? To strengthen partnerships, to say thank you and to inspire for our way into the future of transportation. Only in strong cooperations with our supply partners we are able to plan and pave this way.
In dialogue with our suppliers
For more than a decade it’s been our tradition to publicly appreciate and honor outstanding performance of our suppliers with the Supplier Award. Because together we have curved many marks in history of transportation. In times of a technological transformation as well as digitalization we consider it absolutely necessary for a strong cooperation to be aligned as early as possible. With the Supplier Summit on July 17, we are joining forces and strengthening our partnerships for the road ahead.
We make our suppliers feel the spirit of Daimler Truck
In cooperation with many Daimler Truck colleagues, we set up an extraordinary content and product experience program that has never been done before with our suppliers. From 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. we offer a wide variety of content: keynotes, deep dive sessions, product exhibitions as well as on-road and off-road driving experiences.
We enter into dialogue with our guests on these topics:
- The autonomous driving program at Daimler Truck
- Intelligence to drive – Unleashing the potential of a software-defined vehicle platform
- Shielding up – Fortifying supply chains against cyber threats
- Together towards sustainable supply chains – Success meets significance
- Combining Industries – Electrifying Daimler Truck‘s inbound logistics
Furthermore, we take a closer look at Daimler Truck‘s strategic approach to powertrain technologies in a panel talk following the opening keynote by our Head of Truck Technology Andreas Gorbach.
With an additional keynote on current market developments and how they impact our Daimler Truck strategy, we look together at the crystal ball of the future.
But that’s not all yet: Our guests can touch, feel and learn about our trucks and buses as co-pilots during off-road and on-road rides as well as in various product exhibitions.
And some traditions are there to stay: In the end of the day, we will honor seven supply partners as best of the best with the Daimler Truck Supplier Award honoring their outstanding performance.

That is the fundament. That is what we build on for the future of transportation. We are a globally leading trucks and buses manufacturer with the aim of leading sustainable transportation. To do this, we need suppliers who share our vision, who bring in their own ideas and who find in us a reliable and strong partner to be successful in their turn.
