CAD

The CAD-Software used at Daimler Truck for building infrastucture projects is Bentley MicroStation, where compatibility is ensured when working with a version higher or equal than V8i. The use of the open exchange format IFC can be supported in projects upon agreement with the project owner.

Factory planning oriented CAD

To extend the CAD application MicroStation with more factory planning specific functions, the software CARF of the company LuartX is being employed. 

BIM-coordination

The application Autodesk Navisworks is primarily deployed for BIM-coordination.

Architecture

For all activities related to architecure, the application Bentley Speedikon is employed.
