The member states of the EU are gradually implementing the EU Framework Directive 2018/851 and 2018/852 and are issuing their own national requirements in this regard. 

In Italy, this is the Decreto Legislativo 116/2020 of 03/09/2020, there is a legal obligation in Italy to mark packaging materials with the relevant recycling code.

We kindly ask you to ensure the marking immediately in order to guarantee the conformity to 01.01.2022.

Individual coordination should be agreed with the relevant departments.

With the operational separation of Mercedes-Benz AG and Daimler Truck AG on December 1^st, 2021, the service address for Daimler Truck AG will also be changed to the spare parts labels.

Please note:

If you use the VAS2000 label-software V4.3 you have to update the part data file regularly.

The file is currently available for download every 14 days.

Only with the updated part data file from December 1^st, 2021 the new service addresses will be printed correctly via the VAS2000 software.
