Daimler Truck AG's top priority is to contain the spread of SARS-CoV-2 (coronavirus) and to offer our employees, suppliers and service providers a safe working environment. In doing so, Daimler Truck AG is guided by current information from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) and follows the recommendations and specifications of the authorities. We expect the same from our suppliers and service providers.
Since November 24, 2021, Daimler Truck AG applies the regulations on “3G” (vaccinated, recovered or tested) at all locations in Germany at the workplace.
Like us, our suppliers must also implement the requirements of the federal government, the respective state governments and authorities.
As our suppliers, please also ensure that only employees with valid “3G” status are sent to Daimler Truck AG premises:
Please regularly check with Daimler AG Truck representative whether a proof is already to be presented at the gate or other implementations apply.
Please inform Daimler Truck AG if one of the following criteria applies when contacting our employees:
- there has been contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case, or
- one of your employees is proven to be ill with COVID-19 or
- there is an urgent suspicion of COVID-19 illness (confirmed by a doctor).
The notification can be made via the representative to the Daimler Truck representative (e.g. responsible key account or purchaser). The Daimler Truck representative reports the incident to his superior. Of course, all information will be treated as strictly confidential.
Daimler Truck AG expects suppliers to follow the recommendations and guidelines of the authorities for their employees, especially if employees have recently been abroad for several days.
Access to the Daimler Truck AG site remains unchanged. However, we ask you to coordinate any attendance appointments with your Daimler Truck representative (e.g. responsible key account or buyer) in advance. Wherever possible, virtual possibilities of collaboration are to be used (e.g. Video and telephone conferences).
